The Tata Nexon facelift booking period will begin on September 4 -
The turbo-petrol and diesel engines remain the same as before, and the 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel are new.
Tata Nexon exterior design after facelift -
With sequential LED daytime running light (DRL) signatures on top and headlights at the bottom, the Nexon facelift's headlamps are split. While the headlights are housed in a trapezoidal housing, the DRLs are connected by a thin upper grille that also contains the Tata logo. A larger grille with a thick plastic bar running across it and a fake skid plate is located on the bottom half of the bumper.
The new accent line, which is not highlighted in
a contrasting color, and the new alloy wheels are the only changes to the
profile. The reverse light has been relocated to the bumper, and the Nexon now
has a full-width LED light bar at the back with the Tata Motors logo in the
center. The bumper, which now has a faux skid plate, also houses the number
plate. The Nexon facelift has the same 208mm of ground clearance as the
original model.
Tata Nexon interior and feature updates -
The
interior of the Nexon facelift, which features a new touchscreen setup and a
two-spoke steering wheel, is strikingly similar to the Curvv concept. There are
now fewer physical buttons on the dashboard, and the AC vents are slimmer and
more angular. In relation to that, the center console's HVAC controls consist
of two toggles that are encircled by a touch-screen panel. A carbon-fiber-like finish
and leather inserts are also added to the dashboard.
A free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen, which
first appeared in the Nexon EV Max Dark edition earlier this year, is front and
center. A 10.25-inch full-digital instrument cluster with customizability to
show navigation is also included in the Nexon facelift. A 360-degree camera,
connected car technology, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air
purifier, and more are included in the top-spec Nexon facelift. Six airbags are
standard on the Nexon facelift, along with ESC, three-point seat belts for
every seat, ISOFIX, and emergency and breakdown call assistance.
Tata Nexon facelift engine and model options -
The
1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Nexon facelift will continue to produce
120 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. Depending on the variant, four
different gearboxes are now available: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a
6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (with paddle shifters). On the
other hand, the 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT is still available with the
115hp, 260Nm, 1.5-liter diesel.
As we've previously reported, Tata Motors has
abandoned the 'X'-based nomenclature that included XE, XM, XM+, XZ+, and XZ+
Lux in favor of a Punch-inspired naming structure. Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S),
Pure, Pure (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S), and
Fearless+ (S) trims are the new trim names for the Nexon facelift. While (S)
designates trims with a sunroof, the '+' indicates optional packages that come
